• Do I need to buy a toe kick?

Most of our cabinet lines (see exceptions below) come with toe kicks. You may consider buying a separate toe kick to make a uniform solid look in case there are two or more cabinets joined together.

Cabinet lines that come without toe kicks: Madison White Shaker, Hudson White, Madison Pearl Shaker, Holmdel Cream, Madison Grey Shaker, Madison Blue Shaker, Nutmeg Modern, and Midnight Espresso. Toe kicks are available for purchase separately.

  • Can I buy just cabinet doors?

We receive complete cabinets with all panels and accessories from factory, therefore we cannot sell just doors.

  • I need a specific cabinet size that is not available on the website. Can you custom make or modify cabinets?

We sell stock cabinets, all products are already made. Making custom items in single quantities dramatically increases product cost. Custom cabinet sizes are not available. All items we sell are available on the website. In many cases standard cabinet with few modifications done on customer side can replace a custom item.

  • Do you offer warranty on the cabinets?

  • I ordered RTA cabinets. Do I need to hire someone for cabinet assembly?

Cabinet assembly depends on a particular cabinet style. Majority of our cabinets are assembled with metal brackets/cam locks or staples/nails. Most our customers assemble cabinets by themselves. See the assembly video page for more information. Feel free to contact us with and assembly questions

  • Do you offer any discounts?

  • I have a quote or design from another company. How can I get a price quote from you?

We provide free designs and quotes. We will prepare a price quote for our cabinets based on the sizes provided. Click on the Free Designs Page . there you will be able to select the cabinets and brand your would like and upload your documents and photos of your kitchen.

  • Do you offer installation?

We do not offer installation service. Most our customers install cabinets themselves or hire a professional contractor. If you are not experienced with cabinet installation, we strongly recommend hiring a professional or at least getting an advice from an industry professional.   • Can I make changes to my order after it is placed?

Yes, you are welcome to add or remove items on the order. However, making changes to the order will typically result in delayed shipping

  • Are any of your cabinets made of particle board?

We do not use particle board anywhere in cabinet construction.

  • On which side hinges are located?

Hinges are located on right side on single door base cabinets. They are reversible to left side, if needed. Single door wall cabinets come with identical top and bottom parts, therefore you need to turn cabinet according to desired hinge position during installation.

  • Are your cabinets finished on inside and outside?

some of our cabinets are paint finished on inside take a look at Faircrest Cabinets. Certain cabinet lines are finished with a birch veneer, the ones in veneer that offer glass door cabinets are paint finished on the inside.These specifications vary depending on the particular cabinet line. Please check the specifications of the product you are interested in about the color and finishes. 

  • Are your cabinets strong enough to hold a stone countertop?

Yes, all our cabinets are strong enough to hold a stone countertop.

  • What is the standard cabinet height?

Kitchen base cabinets are 34-1/2″H, regular wall cabinets height can be 30″, 36″ or 42″. Bridge wall cabinets are usually available in heights from 12″ to 24″.

  • How do I make double oven cabinet?

Some cabinet lines do not have double oven cabinets by default. You can make a double oven cabinet by removing lower drawers and filling gaps using filler strips if needed. Modifying oven cabinet openings is a common practice, however, it requires carpentry skills.

  • How soon can I receive my order?

Ready to assemble cabinets are shipped within 2-4 business days. You should expect to receive an RTA order in 8-14 calendar days depending on location. Assembled cabinet orders are shipped in 4-6 business days. They typically take 10-15 calendar days to arrive after you place an order

  • What is a residential curbside delivery?

Most full kitchen orders are shipped to residential addresses. Delivery driver will unload pallet with cabinets on the road curb. We can arrange the inside delivery in some cases but it would require an extra fee charged by shipping company. Please note that certain orders over 96″ in length cannot be unloaded by a liftgate due to a size limitation. Contact us for more information.

  • Do you ship to Alaska and Canada?

Our cabinets can be shipped to Canada. However, you should expect 2-3 day delay with order shipping. Most our Canadian customers choose to pick up cabinets by themselves at freight terminal locations on USA side of the border. Usually it is the most cost effective way.

We do not offer installation services. We are strictly a cabinet distributor.

Are the insides of the cabinets stained to match the face frames and doors?

All of the cabinets are finished inside, but not all of them are the same as the face frame. It depends on the style of cabinet that you are looking at. This information is listed under the features section on the cabinet style page.

Are the sides of the cabinets finished?

Yes, the sides of the cabinets are finished to match the face frames and doors.

Do I need end panels?

All of the cabinet ends are finished, but if you want to bring the sides flush with the face frame, you will have to use end panels.

Do I need to hire someone to assemble the cabinets?

Some people do, but most people don’t. It is really simple to assemble them and doesn’t require any experience. Please visit our assembly page on our website.

Do I need to use wood glue to assemble the cabinets?

Yes, our Quick Ship lines do require wood glue. For all other lines it would not hurt to add glue to the joints, however we leave this judgment call up to the customer.

Do I need toe kick?

Do you carry the glass doors?

We offer both mullion doors and open faced doors for our cabinets. Depending on the cabinet line will determine if it comes with glass or does not. For those that do not come with glass it allows you to pick your own style of glass. A member of our design team will be happy to review the cabinet lines that offer glass doors. How do I install crown molding?

Each cabinet style will require a different installation method for the crown. Depending on whether it is full overlay or ¾ overlay, you may be able to attach the crown to the face frame, or you will have to attach it directly to the top of the cabinet. For additional help, YouTube is a great resource for instructional videos.

How high are the vanities?

Vanity heights vary depending on the cabinet line. They range from 30″ to 32⅝″ to 34½″ tall. To verify the height please check the product description.

How high are your base cabinets?

All of our base cabinets are 34.5″ high (standard height). This allows for a 1.5″ countertop to make 36″.

How much space do I need between my counter top and the wall cabinets?

Industry standard is a minimum of 19 inches.

How much space do I need to leave for the blind base cabinet?

For most of the cabinet lines the blind base needs to be installed 6″ away from the wall and will also have a maximum pull. Please review the specific cabinet specifications to be sure you are accounting for the correct amount of space. For further instruction please visit our assembly page.

What do I do if my plumbing interferes with the drawers on my vanity?

You could always move the plumbing, but that would most likely require a professional plumber. If you don’t want to hire someone, you can either create a false drawer where the plumbing is interfering by not using the actual drawer box.

What grade plywood is used on the cabinets?

The plywood that is used is furniture grade plywood.

What is a cam lock?

There are different types of camlocks, but a camlock is simply an open ended wheel that locks onto a peg or some other mounting device. By turning it like a screw, you create a tight bond.

What is a decorative end panel?

A decorative end panel is a cabinet door that is sized to fit the sides of the cabinets, and to create a custom look.

What is a dishwasher end panel?

A dishwasher end panel is used where the dishwasher is going to come at the end of a run of cabinets. It helps to finish off the end, and trim out the dishwasher.

What is a refrigerator panel?

A refrigerator panel is used for the sides of a refrigerator to box it in and create a custom, built in look.

What is the difference between full overlay and ¾ overlay?

Full overlay doesn’t leave any of the face frame exposed. ¾ overlay will leave some of the face frame exposed.

What is the difference between the corner sink face cabinet and the corner sink cabinet?

Most of our cabinet lines only offer the corner sink face cabinet which is just the front face frame, door, and false drawer front. This is designed to allow your plumbing to come from any location. To support the countertop, all you need to do is attach 2×4’s to the back walls.We also sell the corner sink face floor to go along with the corner sink face cabinet.

What is the difference between the plastic cam locks and the metal cam locks?

The major difference is what will be seen. The plastic cam locks have a plastic casing, which protects the camlock. The metal cam locks are drilled into the plywood, and less visible, but are easier to break.

Why do you only sell filler pieces in 3″ and 6″ widths?

While we would like to offer as many different filler sizes as possible, the 3″ and 6″ can be cut down to fill any gap that may need to be filled. Anything over 6″ should be added to the cabinet next to it, or bump up the 9″ cabinet.

Will the cabinets come with hardware?

Some of the vanities come with hardware, but the kitchen cabinets are not sold with hardware.

Claims Questions

My shipment was damaged, what should I do?

If your shipment is damaged, it is very important to note it on the delivery receipt and take photos of the damaged freight. As soon as you discover the damage, file a claim on the website by logging into your account and noting it on the order. Click here to file a claim.

How long do I have to file a claim?

Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. After that, you have 48 hours to open the boxes and inspect for concealed damage.

I am missing an item, what should I do?

It is important to count everything while the driver is present. In some cases, accessories may be packaged together, so don’t always go by the packing slip. If something is missing, note it on the delivery receipt and file a claim on the website by logging into your account and opening up your order.

I filed a claim online, but didn’t receive a response. Why?

In some cases, it may take a couple of days for our claims department to process a claim and get you a response. We know that any type of damage or missing item can be a burden for our customers, so we try to process them as fast as possible. If you feel that your claim wasn’t received, please contact our claims department and they can give you more information.

The box looked fine, but when I opened it up, there was damage. What should I do?

This is considered concealed damage, and can happen in transit without anyone knowing. This is why it is important to inspect each box within 48 hrs. If you discover concealed damage, please report it immediately.

What does the Limited Warranty cover?

The warranty covers any manufacturing defects or issues that occur once the cabinets are installed. We are not liable for issues that arise from improper installation or assembly. While it occasionally happens, we very rarely have any issues with the cabinets once they are installed.

How do I select right or left handed hinges?

You don’t have to! All of the kitchen cabinet lines have universal doors, which can be switched from left to right hinged based on need.

Do you sell countertops?

Unfortunately we do not sell countertops. While we would love to offer countertops for our customers, we have found that it is more cost effective for customers to find countertops locally.

Are any of the cabinets made of particleboard?

We have a number of different cabinet lines that use different materials. It is best that you contact our design team to review your selection.

Can I buy just doors?

While we do not offer sample cabinets, we do offer sample doors for all of our cabinet lines.

Can I handle my own shipping?

It is not advisable to handle your own shipping as it is expensive. We work with a third party logistics company to get the best competitive rates for our customers. This equals savings for you and less hassle.

Can I make changes to my order once it is placed?

Orders can not be changed once submitted online. Once submitted online, an order is sent to one of our many warehouses around the country to be fulfilled. Our warehouses work around the clock to quickly process and ship orders. Please make sure that you triple check your order before you submit it online.

Can I pick up my order from the main warehouse?

We do not offer order pickups.

Is there a restocking fee?

Yes, there is a 20% restocking fee for cabinets and a 50% restocking fee for accessories.

How do I track a shipment?

I placed an order, but my credit card hasn’t been charged yet. Why?

When an order is placed, we only authorize a transaction. Your order will remain as a pending charge until the order has been processed. 
*Depending on the card issuer the pending charge will fall off within one to two business days. Upon shipment of the order the card will be charged.

I received a message saying the shipping calculator is down. What should I do?

Since we use a 3rd party software program, occasionally the shipping calculator may go down. If you are having problems with the shipping calculator, please contact our design team and they can provide you with a shipping quote.

Is there tax on my order?

Cabinetry Stock is required to collect sales tax in over 20 states within the US. If your state requires that sales tax be collected, you will see a line item on the checkout screen before you place your order.

The shipping rate changed from a month ago. Why?

Our shipping rates are based on real time rates from a network of over a dozen carriers, so rates will fluctuate. We cannot guarantee a shipping rate until an order is placed.
